i bought a house
that housed a mouse
and found there were more
under the floors

my dear friend emma
has the same dilemma
how do we rhyme mouse
with the plural of house

do we change it to hice
to rhyme it with mice
or do we change it to mouses
to rhyme it with houses

emma has a house
with many a mouse
and so is mine
and all is not fine

do we say we have houses
with lots of mouses
or do we have hices

this problem is tough
and living is rough
with all of the mouses
that live in our houses

we wont make a fuss
if you can help us rhyme mouse
